On a whole new level
On a whole new level
Lol rights guys a little brief about my progress with my cavalier, well basically it's a 1.8L basic model, the only thing that made me attracted to it was the genuine 50,000 miles from new and the rare carburettor with a manual choke, an the simplisity of the car, well after just being passed the insurance was high for me to insure so seeing her sitting and not being used I decided to give her a make over, so here are some shots of my progress so far I still have more in mind to do to it hope you like it
Re: On a whole new level
Now for what it's become
Re: On a whole new level
I can see and appreciate the work that's gone into it but it's too white for me needs some of the trim to have stayed black to break it up bit

Re: On a whole new level
Lol well I did have it with black trims but it was tempted to make her all white, il show some pics with black trim
Re: On a whole new level
I don't know what to next to it, I'm thinking slight tints and lowered, or front spotlights rally style mud flaps, or a red pinstripe going through the top to break white up, so easily removed if I get bored, all suggestions welcome lol no harm in experimenting, and no suggestions of a can of petrol and matches, the cavalier won't die that easily lol
Re: On a whole new level
cav looks good mate, but as said too much white, also needs lowering a bit, far too much room between arch and wheel
Re: On a whole new level
It does need lowering but I'm not sure what set up to do I dunno what will make it handle better yet give it that lowered look, also is it best to Matt black the trims or sand down to the plastic lol easier and better option

Get some standard SRi springs (-20mm) I think they are a great compromise between comfort and handling. 195 width tyres make a big difference if you don't already have them.

Re: On a whole new level
Can you still buy new sri springs? As that does sounds like a nice option.

Re: On a whole new level
Would it be possible to ask euro carparts or other motor factors,to get SRI springs, I had a brain wave would my CAV look good with the alloys painted in bright pink or baby blue or another funky colour to break down the full white? Any suggestions lol this is a cavmk3 suggestion time lol
Re: On a whole new level
Go with pink, you can then drive down to the blue oyster bar with a big gay smile lol
