No idea what make / model it is, but it has been parked outside a garage for about a week.

Never heard of that, but after google imageing it, I would say that you are spot-on correct.
The vents / slats on the leading edge of the rear wheel arches look identical to those of the images for a Renault Dauphine

Re: Stuff we've seen on the road
We were on our way back from Ford Fair on Sunday and noticed a steady stream of vintage haulage lorries and classic motors heading towards us. Mrs Humbucker rightly pointed out that a car show must have been ending, so we followed the trail of trucks all the way to the source of their origin and stopped to take snaps of what was left. We passed a Mk2 RS2000, Series 1 Escort RST and loads of other 'modern' machines, but here are some of the motors that hadn't quite made it to the exit by the time we had arrived.
I regularly find myself thinking about selling a Turbo to make room for one of these:

Was out and about today, saw a brown Corvette C3 coming towards Poole from Dorchester. Got a model in near enough the same colour, nice to see the real thing.

I am sure that 120Y is actually an A-F2 (A-F II).
My friend / supervisor at my first job had one of these.
Here is the rustiest car I have ever seen without being burnt out.
Seen during a visit to Urmston, Manchester.

^^^ I know the look is intentional but it does resemble a big turd
Re: Stuff we've seen on the road
Amazed to see this turn up on the car park behind my house.
Normally it is boy racers in Clio's or Corsa's.
Despite it's age, it was totally spotless with no visible bubbling or corrosion - sweet.

Re: Stuff we've seen on the road
Just got back from Reykjavik. Despite keeping a keen eye out no Cav/Vectra A were seen as only a handful of Opels seemed to be about (most of these were Mk3 Astra estates) as everyone favours VAG products or large off roaders - Landys, Pathfinders, Rams, Landcruisers, etc. Did spot a few oddities, one of which was this Tesla S 'Signature'.
