Saloon SRi spoiler fitting?

Wondering if anyone has any tips on fitting the sri spoiler I've bought, I've looked for a guide of some description but haven't found anything. Just wondering about sealing around the spoiler and getting the holes that need to be drilled in the boot in the correct places?

Think most people use an epoxy glue and bond the spoilers on now but if you really want to bolt it on then I would put a dab of paint on the end of each bolt and this will guide you as to where to drill...

Cheers, my dad suggested a similar idea of using the bolts to scratch the paint on the boot but that wouldn't be very accurate. Yeah thought about bonding it for about a minute but I may aswell do it the way it's meant to be done.

Also just thought does the rear griffin badge have to come off of the boot for the spoiler to sit properly?

After running the part number off of the back of the spoilers badge "90462183" through multiple places genuine part search, vauxhall green parts and autovaux I haven't been able to find one, I've also searched ebay. Do any badges from other models fit? Or does anyone know where I could find one?

No, couldn't find any new ones mate, although I did get a really clean one on the spoiler that I bought which is now on the car.

The best thing to do is keep your eyes open for spoilers with good badges on, as their just so hard to find, even if you do find a new badge it'll probably cost more than a spoiler with a good one on.

Although I dont know if saloon and hatch badges are the same?

Will do mate, thinking about it I have a decent-ish badge, a bit of laquer? peel on the badge face but not too noticeable unless up close that you could have for a couple of quid, if you want one until you can find a perfect one.
