Re: inner wing washer bottle removal...
That's a good one actually, I was wondering that myself the other day. I thought it would be inside the wing, but as there's a second skin, it's probably not. Not sure if you do have to take the bumper off, pretty stupid if so as the front ones can be a pain in the ass.

I can't remember much of it, but I don't recall removing a bumper for it on a cav (although a Vectra definitely).

If I remember correctly you need to remove a couple of bits of plastic trim that bolts onto bottom of the bumper / inner wing plastic , then take off the metal bar that the twin horns are bolted onto . I'm sure you can get to the bolts from here on in & remember the neck of the bottle screws off from the base

Ok cool. That's not so bad. I know there's one screw that holds the filler neck of the reservoir to the inner bodywork, so I guess it comes out from the bottom then? What about the pump, is that on the bottom part?

Re: inner wing washer bottle removal...
You definately dont have to remove the bumper. Just jack it up, remove wheel (or turn it), undo Plastic shit gaurd and pull it back (or remove it), unscrew the top half of the filler neck from under the bonnet, think its like a 6mm bolt, then remove the big plastic nut thats holding the lower half of the bottle in, Back underneath lift up the pump from the bottle and leave it hanging, undo the 2 10mm bolts holding the tank in and away it comes.
*I think lol!

So why are you asking about the washer reservoir?
Cheers Dan, I suspect mine will need mine will need removing and de-contaminating with industrial strength chemicals as the screen wash that came out of it today didn't smell too fresh and I don't particularly want Legionnaiers disease.....

What are you talking about? Replaced my nearside fog light today, the washer reservoir was nowhere near it? The horns were, but I didn't remove them either..

Re: inner wing washer bottle removal...
Oh I see. I would have thought it'd be the same as on my V6 where it's not anywhere near the fog light.
No worries, my mistake.
