How2 - Remove Rear Quarter Window

Post by cavyboi »

Rear Quarter Window Removal;

First remove the seat belt that is attached to the rear quarter trim.

Then, you take the rear quarter interior trim off (from what I can remember there are some Torx screws along the bottom and a few under covers), sorry I don't have any pic's as my interior is already out, when all screws are removed then remove the panel...

Next you will be left with the shell and plastic nuts, 6 of which are 9mm and look like this;

Remove all the nuts...

Once you have done that, I had to use a blunt tool to get behind the window from the outside because it was stuck in place, slowly go around the outside of the window and prise it away from the window until it is loose. When it is loose push the window out of the hole...

This is it just been taken out;

Put it to one side;

You will be left with this;

...and to put it all back in is the reverse of this...

If needed it will post more pics up once I have done it again.
