'95 Expression ABS Sensors.

Hi Folks,
I have a non operating N/S/R ABS sensor that needs to replaced at some point. I don't have problems with the Dealership getting their listed part, but I do have an issue with getting one that is a direct replacement for the one that is fitted. I'm finding out, as I did with the clutch issue, that the last batch of Cavaliers seemed to be fitted with production parts from other models, hence the Calibra Flywheel / Clutch etc .
I'm guessing that the rear ABS sensor is from another model, too. I'm surprised that the folks at the dealership parts dept don't seem to know what bit was fitted to this model.
Mine looks like this . . . .
The one the spares sent was this . . . .
I'm a bit worried about yanking the old one out until I have a spare. As you can see, it's fairly well rusted in.
I don't suppose shorting the cable out would be a temporary fix, just to turn the warning light off.
Any light that you could shine on this issue would be most helpful.
Thanks,
Chuck
