Hi all, im in the process of rebuilding the front struts on my turbo and am seeking some info on the front disc back plates. Does anyone know if they differ between models ? The only ones im able to find state they fit the smaller engine'd cars, not 2.0,turbo,v6 etc.

Any help is much appreciated !

There are indeed two sizes.

A "C" shaped shield for 1.8, 2.0 and V6 cars.

A completely enclosed shield is for the smaller hub carrier fitted to 1.4 and 1.6 cars.

Try AutoDoc.

Google search is :-

Are the C shaped ones suitable for the later family II 1.6i (C16NZ2) as well?
Normally it shares all the same components with the 1.8i.

The original plates for the turbo are very difficult to find.. they don’t make them any more - only aftermarket are available.

Vauxhall front back plates..
90375290 is RIGHT
90375289 is the LEFT

Originals do pop up but in used condition only, often need sand blasting and recoat

It depends upon the hub diameter.
If the hub is approx 100mm diameter, you need the "C" shaped shields.

The full ones are for 87mm diameter hubs.

Checking on ECAT, it says that the C16NZ2 does use the "C" shaped shields.
But just for an added twist, it is a "C" shaped shield with 87mm hob diameter.

So the C16NZ2 format is unique..
