Looking to buy brakepad wear sensors for the gsi, but not too sure if they ate all the aame on cavys, incase I buy wrong ones, any info appreciated

I think sensors come already fitted to the pads either
as an electrical contact or as a spring that makes an
awful noise if it touches the disc .
Not sure if you could retro fit.

Don't know if they're all the same or not but on the V6, when I did my pads, they did not come with their own sensors. The sensor is a separate part and is attached to the strut where it plugs into the loom. It sits in the small hole in the metal part of the brake pad.

Cheerz for info, I know what they are just mines were snapped, so there is only one kind for the cav gsi or cavys, they are all the same then

Correct
Of three cavs that I've owned, none provided the cable attachment from the brake assembly into the loom (I assume that that is what you mean) with the pads/discs; they are a separate item and retailed last time I bought one for £14.00 a side non-trade price.
