hi all, can fitting GSI/SRi wishbones to a normal 1.8 gls improve handleing or is there no differance/or not fit at all? also I need to know what shocks to use, as mine is lowered but using standard shocks and is a bit bouncy, would SRI shocks do or will they fit ? is there a cheaper option?

all wishbones are the same

shocks unless you by gm will all be the same only changed by engine size therefore weight, id suspect your shocks are shot, try a branded set of some kyb gas shocks if your on a budget

Well for the wishbones, they are all identical and fitting ones off a gsi or turbo or wotever won't make an ounce of differance.

Not sure wether the sri shocks are better, i assume they will be slightly better but not sure. GSI/turbo rear shocks and springs won't fit but all other models will fit yours.

wishbones are all the same, though the prefacelift models have a slightly weaker version, when the facelift model came out the bottom arms were revised and they were all fitted with a stronger arm, so really if your changing the arms make sure it is the revised ones.

Pair for front shocks will set you back about £50 for gas. Buypartsby.co.uk is where I get mine from.

Trade club is alright for service bits sensors and batteries etc but for specific parts you just get trade which is 10-20% off retail
