As Gaz said, its the pump/float arm/filter assembly in one. Pop the seat bench out, pull the carpet cut-out square out, and pop off the round rubber plug. Then undo the 8 or 9 bolts, unclip the wiring plug and it comes out.

Am I a light sleeper or a heavy sleeper? Well that depends on how much I've had to drink...

err no its not, its just the pump, the filter is on the back of the tank and the level arm is a different unit on the bottom

Ye, I meant the small filter on the bottom of the pump. I thought the float arm was there as well.. oh my bad then.

it'll be fine and tbh its newer so probably a bit more life left in it.
Fuel pressure is regulated at the rail not the pump

Only the single point injection pumps are no good for your set-up

These only run at 0.7bar (approx), whereas all multi-point engines including 2.0 litre units run at a much higher pressure than this.. approx 2.3 bar or higher, I think.

So as Gaz says, just keep the tank and pump as they are, if they are in better condition.
