Sick as f* ck!

Post by HAIRIBO »

Back in October my old Td fuel tank split. I had a second hand on fitted. That had internal damage so pressurised only let me ever put 15/ 25 litres in and the fuel gauge would ly til you ran out of fuel. Just had another fitted. Filled it up and now it's pissing fuel everywhere.

Where the fudge can I get a new one from???????

Gettin to the point I.o tempted just to weigh the car in

You should get away with a carberator fuel tank.
There were a few on eBay earlier - however if you are gonna weigh it in, come speak to me first :P

Thanks mate. I.ll take a look. I spent so much on the awaap over the last year. It's reallo well specd now. But thinking of giving up on it and buying a pickup truck.

It's been uprated to v6 front brakes. Rear discs conversion. Larger brake cylinder. Braided hoses. New handbrake cables. Bilstien shocks. Eibach springs. New cv joints.

Full cesaro interior. Leather steering wheel. New handbrake/ gear gaitors. Retrimmed parcel shelf. With new straps and gas struts.

New side repeaters and rubbers.

Spoiler. And side skirts.

So much put into it. But I.ve spat my Dummer out. And lost my love for it.

If it were me and I'd put all that work into it, I'd legally marry the thing! As for pick-ups, you can't go wrong with a Ram 3500 Crew Cab!

For the sake of a fuel tank, you'd be mental to chuck it in now.
Might be worth looking at other models that may have a similar shaped tank.

I've got an early model fuel tank in a shad somewhere, brand new... The one without the hole for the pump to sit in, dunno if that's any use

I've decided I would really like a sex change, preferably from 'none' to 'absolutely shitloads'

Hi everyone I managed to order a new one from that website posted up. It's sitting in my car waiting to be fitted. Wish I'd waited now! Lol.
