hi all had a bit of trouble with my car oil pump failed and now bottom end has gone was wondering if a bottom end of a ecotec would fit i currently have a redtop coil type non dizzy any help would be great cheers

I would just find a redtop bottom end, it probably would fit but the flywheel bolt pattern is wrong, potentially the cambelt setup is wrong its just too much faffing about for a poorer quality bottom end.

tend to agree , theres a few redtops getting broken , have a scout round the forums , I'm sure ive seen one but can't remember which forum it was on
