Which engine?

I've just got myself another Cavalier.
I'm after suggestions on whether to fit a Z20LET or Saab turbo.

The car is a 1995 SRi, So it's an ecotec.

Whats the pros and cons of each engine and how easy/hard are the conversion?

Bought another at the weekend. Don't hate Z20LET but in place of a C20LET is just WRONG.

Lol whatever. I think you should go for a z20let. Everyones got a saab engine these days.

You could pick up an astra coupe for a grand and break the rest and probably make most of your money back. New turbos are cheap. Ive got the remap tool and 14 maps to choose from if you wanted. Nice and smooth and reliable.

I'd say get the 2.3saab turbo engine.
The z20let is limited! Though it depends which one your getting

I love the natural progression of conversation on the forum.

Anyhoo, I guess it depends what you want from the engine at the end of the day.

Are you wanting to drop it in and run it? Or will you be tweaking it again and again?
