Hi guys, not posted in a while.

I have a slight problem with this cav, first off the brake lights don't work at all , I fitted two new bulbs and still nothing.
Where can I get a replacement brake light switch (one that goes on the brake pedal) also how hard is it to change ?

Other problem is it keeps blowing a fuse for the interior light
It melted one the other day.

Any help would be brilliant thanks

Did you get brake lights fixed? Interior light blowing? Sounds like a shorting problem somewhere.

Try door switch on pillar is not bust or shorting out on metal somewhere. Can you trace the problem to a specific door, most likely drivers as used the most, however if it is any door then problem must be upstream. Put new fuse in, try moving the door light switches in and out and see if fuse blows again. Also check if fuse is correct ampage and you are using correct bulb as well as any other components the fuse services, it might be maybe boot light, not sure if that is on same fuse. Also check wires interior light are not shorting and connections etc. are good.

Nice work on the arches. May I ask how you actually joined the outer lip of new arches to inner? I believe they are spot welded in factory however did you spot weld them, if so did you seal them with panel sealer as well?
