If you want something different get one of those pre-facelift grills with the spot lights cut into it, I think Hella made them.

Nice old school looking cavalier mate cracking colour! Have to admit love the old sris the way they are even with the wheel trims just reminds me of my dads one when was a young lad always thought they was cool cars!

Air filter received (Cheers Gaz)so i thought whilst i was changing it i might aswell de-restrict the airbox,I presume i got the right bits out :lol:

Thats why i have the biscuits for aswell just to firm them up a bit


Its going in tomorrow for the back arches doing and a bit of welding.Then next week for it painting,so fingers crossed it should look alot tidier soon

Small bit of progress went in for arches and ended up needing new sills aswell but atleast it will be all done

Well its been a while but i had really fallen out with the cav just lately.Not that its done anything wrong i had the rear arches done and had 2 new sills at the same time.But i think he made a balls of the paintingand filling of the arches the guy didn't even put the sideskirts back on properly

I had both arches done (which i supplied) to new sills a bit of welding in the boot and some at the back of passenger wheel arch and then bonnet and rear quarters resprayed and it cost just short of £400 but he said it was going to be £80 per side for just the rear arches

Thats not a bad price at all, but if your not happy take it back and tell them to sort it.

I took a bit of a chance taking it there i think ha is more of a mechanic than bodywork guy so gunna save a few more £££'s and take it somewhere properly to get it done atleast the car is solid now and not rusty
