Not sure you'l be able to buy one, think you'd have to buy the whole quarter panel. Probably best off cutting one out from the scrapyard if you can find one.

great result today.picked up a n reg cavi saloon shell for £150.result.only thing is.....i have to strip it down to a bare shell myself..pics to follow.
if the bumpers dont scuff then it aint low enuf.

i got it from a scrap yard.its a 2 litre ecotec with a knackered engne.told the guy i only wanted the bare shell and that id give him my bare shell plus £150 and id strip them both so gona go strip it tomorrow.ill post pics of the strip down.

well i started the strip down on the new shell today.bear in mind thin cavi was complete and in good condition when i started.all im getting is the rolling shell.nothing else and i mean nothing.here are a few pics of the car before and during strip down.only engine/gearbox/doors and boot to go now.

so far iv found some surface rust.ill have to weld a few holes in the boot where the tow bar has been bolted to.all in all good shell.
if the bumpers dont scuff then it aint low enuf.

can anyone tell me how hard it would be to fit a calibra front end to my cavalier.quite fancy doing this

It has been done, the only issue I can for see would be the inner wings & slam panel.

i was hoping the inner wings and slam panel would be the same.i was only asking coz i got offered a calibra for £200.didnt know if it was worth buying or not

another quick update on my cavii sri resto.between last year and getting the gsi (plus shite scottish weather) iv not had much time for the old girl but made a start on her the other day.hopefully weather will get better and ill get more done.

thanks.im doin it bit by bit.also am doin it in my garden.the shell is solit with only a few holes where the fuel lines clip to the floor to be welded.will hipefully cet the underside stripped and painded in the next few weels.
