Re: Troy's btcc replica gsi
Before the MOT ran out on my V6, I switched to regular unleaded and switched the RON plug back, noticed a slightly better MPG result but would need to test it thoroughly to determine the actual difference.
Must say, I can't complain. Running a Dodge Charger 440 Hemi would be more interesting

Fifteen miles!!! I do hope that's a joke.
Re: Troy's btcc replica gsi
The v6 was more thirsty than my current impreza. I absolutely hated running it, heard Cavaliers are a bit better. I'd rather run a v8

No joke mate, wasn't even pushing it to be honest, just round town stop-start nonsense.. Put a tenner in, 15 or so miles later the needle was back where it was beforeJames McGrath wrote:Cavalier342 wrote:I don't know what you mean mate, I can get an extremely amazing 25 miles to a tenner Although the other week I got 15

Hmm maybe, do love the sound of them.
Although my mrs uncle has a 1500bhp cortina V8 that he used to run a supercharger on but it just couldnt cut it anymore so upgraded to 2 massive turbos instead!

American hot rodders would laugh at 1500 hp.
Their way - get a classic Chevy body, custom chassis, ethanol powered supercharged V8 up front, 2000hp + and they're happy

What did you think I was referring to?? Owning a powerful car is simple, you give it a clean in the morning, tinker about with it for a bit, insert yourself in there, plough it down the road, really work the gear knob up and down to try all speed settings, quick shortcut up the back alley to the gas station, stick the big long pipe in the hole, fill it up, come back and chill out... Am I missing anything?Envoy CDX wrote:I'm not even gonna go there...Cavalier342 wrote:Had that problem several times thanks..
