Cav must have known it was coming off the road today as the starter has given up.My fault as I continued to run it with the knackered ring gear,if only it had lasted one more day,

Off the road now until next March I think.

Wow, its been 7 months since I've done any work on the V6, finally got around to puling the engine out to fix the ring gear and starter.
Might even fit my longer set of headers while im at it

Its my own fault by continuing to drive it with a knackered ring gear.
It only had to last one more day before it came off the road for the winter.

Engine pulled out last week, new ring gear fitted and engine now back in.
Mrs wasn't best pleased to have the flywheel in the freezer and ring gear in the oven though.
