Well its the end of an era! Nearly 4 years of ownership, loads of mods done but now its gone.

I had a text this morning off a lad saying hes on his way to look at it which i wasnt expecting. So i gave it a quick wash and then they arrived. They had a right good look at it and a deal was done.

Its gone to a good home and the guys gonna carry on with it and make it even better. I did tell him to sign up to the site so hopefully he will.

I'll leave the thread open for anyone wanting to ask about any mods done.

Felt quite sad when it drove off but time for a change, New year New car! 8-)

Sad times dan mate.

Seen the car myself on saturday. Was a fine example of a cavalier. Pictures dont do it justice at at all. Hopfully we will see the progress on the cav in the near future.

The time and effort you put into the cav was unreal mate. Some really great upgrades there.

I might copy the rear brake mod that you done as the standard setup is pretty poor to be fair.

I know the feeling, I still miss my old hatch and it's not even been that long.

Cracking thread(yes i know its over a year old now) I'm looking to do a zlet conversion myself. Just wondered if you managed to get the cruise control working on the zlet ecu matey?
I see in the pics you fitted the earlier type cruise on your clet build.

Glad you liked it 8-)

I dont think it ever worked with the zlet no, it was something to do with the way i wired the astra clutch switch in. I never got round to finishing that before i sold it.

Oh and yeah when the c20let was in i was using the omega cruise control setup.

agh that's a bummer, I was hoping you'd say the zlet cruise worked fine and was dead easy to wire in lol. Its only the wiring that concerns me about the conversion really, i cant be without cruise though so that will def be getting done one way or the other.

In theory the cruise control should work if wired correctly however no one has ever got cruise working on a Corsa z20let conversion so maybe there's more to it
