BRITISH TV SHOW SEEKS MK 3 CAVALIER TURBO 4X4
Re: BRITISH TV SHOW SEEKS MK 3 CAVALIER TURBO 4X4
I've just watched the 100th episode, even though I dont agree with electrifying a classic,( if you want to own an electric car why not just buy a modern plastic one with no soul,) there was at least a lot more information included.

I dont know, I always felt the in the Edd shows that the costs were on par with what the average home job would be (other than the specialist tools). Most of us wouldn't price in the cost of fuel to buy parts, or electricity at home either, so it is a more like-for-like for the average car enthusiast3cav3 wrote: ↑Sun May 15, 2022 11:24 am Wheeler dealers is far from an accurate costing, a lot of jobs are performed by specialists at far below the cost to the general public, no fuel is ever quoted, I.e when it collected, and running round for parts. No electricity etc either? Plus advertising costs aren't factored in. A perfect example of this is the recent Wheeler Dealers Dream Car series.
Certainly not in the same league as the costs of car sos.
The dream car ones were a bit fantasy in my view, as in would it be cool if we could....
