Yes there was quite a bit of fettling done to get the IC to fit. I had to cut the lip off the bottom radiator support and weld it up. Also had to cut the ends of the chassis legs for the pipework to fit.
Black part of the bumper also had to be trimmed a bit.

Will do Humbucker :thumb
Thanks mate, I have done mine now and ended up buying 3 different cooler and used the radiator from the Saab donar car, had to jiggle power steering pipes and the bumper was a challenge but it's done now ..

No Dan, I was just comparing tail pipes to see what I liked. That big ole can is ridiculously loud. It's straight through pipe to the back box.

I got a bit bored as the Cav is still at the exhaust builders, So I got to sorting the actuator bracket.

You have to cut off the old standard actuator from the bracket.

Then drill holes to mount the new actuator. I did intend to get it chromed but decided to just paint it and get a spare actuator to have chromed.

Image

Whist the bracket was drying I changed the spring to suit my engine.

She's done 500 miles now. Today I changed the oil and filter.

Can't decide if I like the polished sliders or not. Prefer the plastic ones at the minute. Will see if the polished grow on me.

Great work Terry, looks ace. What rating are the different coloured actuator springs? I have a Forge item waiting to make its way into my car's engine bay. It came with a few different springs (fitted with the yellow one iirc), but with no accompaying documentation!

iirc yellow is lowest rating. I did email Forge who were really helpful. I shall post the ratings in a second.

Dropped her off at the bodyshop today.
Managed to refit the gear linkage after I fitted rose joints. Feels firmer and smoother now. Only play is on the actual gear stick now. Will have to upgrade for mk4 one.
