No IRS so hopefully all will be good.
Hmm ' is that Chicago on the top road between Stalybridge and Mossley.
I used to use them for many years in a previous job.(1985 to 1997).

I was thinking of going down a similar route to get my T3 van engine parts powder coated.
Couldn't decide between mid-blue powder coating or a chrome effect.

Good work! The block came up well even before you painted it.

Awesome! All nice and clean. Did you paint the bay or just clean it up?

Mostly just cleaned it up. There was some surface rust where the main subframe bolts mount. Quick wire brush and a lick of paint sorted that.

Thought it be best if I fitted a new Starter.
As the picture shows the old unit has seen better days.

All good!
When you were cleaning the engine block I am guessing it was just a wire wheel on a grinder you used?

Hi Leigh...Think I may have replied to you on facebook regarding the intercooler.

Yes there was quite a bit of fettling done to get the IC to fit. I had to cut the lip off the bottom radiator support and weld it up. Also had to cut the ends of the chassis legs for the pipework to fit.
Black part of the bumper also had to be trimmed a bit.

Will do Humbucker :thumb
