Thought id put a wee thread up about my cav!
first cav ive ever had and im well chuffed at how good the car is!
how I picked it up

Does look right on those Speedlines especially that low, nice work...
Free Parking is a bonus, leaving my Cav in a carbon dust filled carpark is not.....

Its really solid underneath aswell!
Anybody got a drivers side head light washer jet like my passenger side??

Cavs don't have washer jets must be off something else, GSI's, CDX's, dippy's had wash / wipers though.

Think he means the wiper arm itself as it's missing in the photos. I don't think the Cavaliers had the headlamp wiper/washer combination, the Saab 900's did though. Similar set-up etc.

They did, But they are pretty rare.. Even some high spec Cavaliers didnt have them.. My TD has tho haha :D

I was gonna say, I've never heard of that feature on the Cavaliers...

Are your front & rear wind deflectors genuine Vauxhall ones, Have you got the part numbers?

James has them on his pre-facelift diplomat not all had them.. He has a video of them in action 8-)

I might have a spare set of the wiper arms if thats what your after, They need new blades. Volvo ones work fine....

Wind deflectors are just heko ones I think bud

Lovely cav think it suits the fanblades best mate, I mind this car when it was in Derry northern ireland couple years ago, it was always immaculate looking, best of luck with it

Drop links are easy, cut the old ones off, then slide the new ones on. Use washing up liquid, nothing else, do not be tempted to try oil or grease or you will fail and have to cut the new one off because it got stuck halfway on. Lots of washing up liquid and slide them on, twisting as you go in one fluid movement. Make sure you don't stop moving it until it is where it needs to be.

Car was looking lovely at crail defo the right decision painting rims silver mate looks spot on red and white wheels are a no for me keep up good work :thumb

You can use the inner wing one for both then you could ditch the other one to tidy it up abit.
