Either way - hows things going back together? :)
Cheers don't worry those hubs are now surplus to requirements I've got new ones now as the old ones a part of the bearing has left itself behind and can't get it off so I had to buy new, and I won't be painting those.
Couldn't tell you at the moment though how she's going back together still waiting for the parts to turn up.
I'm hoping they get here today as I want to get her finished and back on all fours, I hate leaving her up on stilts.

One thing I must ask can I remove the dust guards or are they a mot requirement as mine have got knackered with all the banging and knocking about?

Watch this space today could be the day.
Then it's calibra time.

I've also got her back on all wheels today and looking good and ready for her mot.
She's got new bearings, hubs, wishbones, track rod ends, droplinks and shocks.
So hopefully she should pass.

Well cavs big day is here, she's got her mot at 2:30 today.
I really hope she's ok.
The only problem I've found with the new front end full of parts is for some reason she's sitting higher than before can't figure out why?
Think it might be her new shocks need to settle down abit but she's near standard ride height again, any ideas anyone?

Cavalier passed her mot again today with no advisories.
I'm so happy the mot testers couldn't believe how clean she was and said there's nothing wrong with the old girl and she's immaculate.
So another year of driving, well when I'm not stripping her that is lol.Image

Well I've been driving her since she's passed nearly everyday and she's putting a smile on my face at every opportunity, I really do love to drive her.
Only thing I've had to do since the mot was put her back box back on as it came loose and might need to go over all the bolts on my new parts just to make sure they are tight as we all know after new parts are fitted and bed in its best to check.
The one thing I do need to sort though is the sticky throttle cable I have to put my foot under the pedal to release it I'm just going to try some wd40 and some grease see if that helps.
Well here's to plenty more miles of happy motoring.
O and she's booked in at the tripes farm Classic car show in September can't wait now.
