You might be surprised to know that it's not something I'd have on my car. Too much for a stock car. And yes I believe you're right regarding the trailer shots so I thought why not :D

You would have to take the badges off if you went for an SRi spoiler. Bit of a waste as they still look good.

An irmscher one would be less intrusive but they are more obvious.

Not fussed about badges, took them off before anyway and super-glued them back on after respraying them but they're nackered anyway so may just get new ones and be done with it. Thinking of the SRi spoiler and it will hide the messy paintwork a bit....

As it was fairly hot today, I decided to remove the under-bonnet layer (feck knows why they installed it on the V6 :scratch ) and have a quick spruce-up there...

Was filthy in the usual areas, paintwork wasn't too bad but as usual they didn't bother painting it very well at the start in the middle of the bonnet....

After a cold beer, a scrub, clean and polish:

Going to leave it like this for the summer, may re-fit it come next autumn/winter, but I really don't see the point in having it under there during the summer. Hopefully might make the engine sound a bit more throaty too as it will lose sound deadening.

Now need to get a new back box, and the cam belt etc done.

After the respray, I never put my sound deadening back. TBH never noticed the difference!
Good cleaning effort Andrei!

It made a slight difference on my auto and the old manual, mind you the old manual didn't have any sort of sound deadening up front, apart from the underlay.

Prefer it without to be fair, it keeps all the dirt and moisture in there... Plus I like a shiny surface :thumb Cheers dude.

Well, decided to give the beast a good play down the local dual-carriageway, and got an excellent result:

Just ordered a new backbox, it was going to go eventually, I think the little clear-out helped it commit suicide finally  Mind you it sounds like a tank now and I don't like it......

Looking good buddy and honestly that crud soaking rag Vauxhall clipped to the underside of the bonnet does feck all, not noticed any difference since I got fed up with mine and tore it off months ago..

Think the exhaust may have something to do with the text you sent me earlier :no , be careful down there as I got a telling off from Pc plod in a T5 Volvo as was pushing 90ish...
Free Parking is a bonus, leaving my Cav in a carbon dust filled carpark is not.....

I've been asking Mike but he's been busy recently, regarding the Southern meet up which never happened

I'm off today, if you're about, give us a bell or a text, when you're about as after 8 pints I suspect I'll be asleep for a while now..... Happy to take that sunroof kit off you, possiblly having my exhaust arriving tomorrow, so will let you know what's what, keep us posted dude... :cheers
