Bad timing for me. Would love to go but baby is due on the 12th March so probably shouldn't make any plans for that weekend!

Congrats to you and Lizzie on the imminent arrival of No2.
Hope all goes smoothly.

Regarding 'Rustival'.
I am being a bit dumb, but I couldn't find a location for this event.
Ignore that - British Motor Museum...

Can certainly say Rustival was worth the drive - some excellent projects there, and even 3-4 mk3 cav's, a mk1 and a handful of mk2's. Severeal corsas' astras too.

Excellent.
Did you only look at the Vauxhalls?

I like a lot of the old 80s and 90s cars.
It is just nice to see cars from my younger days.
Whether it is a TR7, a Super-Mirafiori or even a Morris Marina.
They are more interesting due to their personality and rarety.

It's fortunate they got decent weather for the show.

There are nine pages of pics here https://www.facebook.com/ScottishCarEnthusiasts that seem to have missed the mk 3's, at least they give a taste of the event🙂.

Nah, looked at everything there really. I'll upload some pictures later on (somewhat miss Photobucket..)

Ha, I'm no longer on facebook so unsure if I'll be able to see those, but yeah. MK3's don't get as much love as they used to.

Same here, I packed in FaceAche a long time ago.
I just ended up being pestered by images of semi-clad girls, or girls from eastern Europe looking for a loving partner. :ass

Nice, but err no!. :no

I can't cope with the one I've got (the missus), so I sure as hell ain't looking for more trouble.

I realise that I am an out-dated old fossil, but anti-social media is just not for me.

You're right, it is anti-social these days.
