As a Retro Cars magazine project car, my Cavalier Turbo was supposed to be on the mag's show stand, but they've sorta double booked; we're heading off on a week-long Retro Cars European road trip the very day that the show takes place! Doh!

News just in!

"It is with regret that as organisers of Retro Cars Live, we have made the decision to cancel the event, which was due to take place on Sunday 9th August at Rockingham. While this is clearly regrettable, it was ultimately decided that it was better to defer the event until such time that it can be properly developed and turned into a world class show with top quality content and strong audience. Fast Car Entertainment’s other events this year have been a resounding success and we now look forward to the rest of the season, which includes Japfest 2 on the 16th August at Rockingham, Mini in the Park also on the 16th August at Santa Pod and FordFest at Santa Pod on the 13th September.

Apologies for the inconvenience, but we appreciate your understanding and continued support of Retro Cars."

What a pity. Although the phrase "properly developed" does leave me wondering if it'll return overly marketed and sanitised.
