Thats fair enough... Was asked to bring my roof bars along for someone...
No need to be a dick though is there really...

Just because I no longer drive a Cav... Automatically means I am not allowed to join in at meets or show my appreciation for the cars...
Sounds like a shitty attitude to have tbh...

Unless you drive a Cav you cant like a Cav.

And as its a public place... I can be there if I want...

I will be there to bring you the roof bars :)

Of course you can come along, besides you're bringing the roof bars for me :)

This is one of the pitfalls of a forum, it is easy for an off hand comment that was meant with a humourous touch to come across completely wrong. The written word doesn't carry emotion of depth of feeling that a face to face talk would.

Anyway, the meeting is open to anyone who has owned or does own a cavalier.

Precisely. I'm not fussed who brings what, but maybe it came out wrong at the time... Text isn't easy to interpret as you say.

I may bring my mountain bike, bloody Cav maybe in surgery again......

Mahoooosive waterleak and mashooooosive overheat means getting pressure tests done again to see if HG survived!! Oh the joy!!

Ummmm free most weekends with notice bar 26th April weekend as big family bash..
Free Parking is a bonus, leaving my Cav in a carbon dust filled carpark is not.....

Mike, there was a complete engine on the Facebook page the other day, think it was £60? Might be worth considering if you have cooked it badly?

Looks like either 11 or 18 of May, just seeing who else can make it before clamping down to one date - those dates good for you?

11th is good for me, however if 18th is best for the majority, I'll be good with that.

Should be there if all goes well.
Never use another Cav driver as guidance to a destination, unless you REALLY want to explore the country.
