Ok cool Tim. i guess i'll aim for 13:00 at the earliest then. I reckon it would take about 50 mins from bournemouth with good traffic, noting that i have to run a bit further and turn round at the next junction just outside Southampton Intl airport. I reckon i'll leave sometime after 12. sounds good. Gives me time with the hoover
Everyone else ok with that? 13:00 ish as the earliest mark.

Thats cool. I on the other hand had trouble keeping up with other cars  I was in my "Captain Slow" mood 8-) Anywho, i swear the car feels smoother and more composed to drive now after that motorway run :? Dont know why. Another thing is i am gonna get a tonne of sleep 2night as i am so tired from the journey lol. It's too relaxing!!

lol. For me, its not that i'm bored or anything, i got a radio/cd unit, windows to look out of and a hundred LEDs to look at whenever i want lol, its just that somehow the car feels incredibly relaxing :) My concentration and road awareness still stay up, but i just feel completely like on a deck of a cruise ship. Until i hit kickdown of course :p that incredible sound wakes me up  I honestly can say, i probably will never drive a completely standard car that sounds so good when revved up. It's got that kind of bmw'ish smooth roar and the lovely whistle from the gearbox :D sounds so nice above 4000 rpm.

pmsl, you need to go out in Pete's Dippy weapon, now the noises that makes over 5500 revs are spine tingling. Awesome motor.

If thats the case you need to rip the engine out and fit a proper one!

Wolfie says sorry he didnt make it but after hearing a "loud crack or thump" from the rear corner, he decided not to risk it. Lucky for him he didnt as he appears to have broken a suspension arm!! :wall Getting fixed soon so he'll hopefully see you at the next one

Hey all.
Just wondering when everyone's up for another south meet sometime soon. How about like last time, setting an approximate date in like a month or so. Looks like the warmer days are closing in, so i thought why not :)
Andrei. :grommit

Nice one on bringing the topic back up from the dead :thumb When i get my timing belt replaced, i'll definitely be up for another meet. It hasn't gone, but that dreaded renewal interval is sailing into port. Don't want to go long-distance yet. Anybody else interested meanwhile?
