VBOA Spring Parts Day & Autojumble, Sunday 9th March 2014

Post by humbucker »

VBOA Spring Parts Day & Autojumble, Sunday 09 March 2014
The Connexion Conference Centre, Leamington Road, Ryton-on-Dunsmore, Coventry, CV8 3FL

The unmissable pick of the very best of member's surplus stocks and hidden treasure troves plus professional auto jumblers. If you can't find it here then it probably doesn't exist!

Public admission is pegged at £3 per adult, children under 10 free. Doors open at 10.00am and the event will close at 2.00pm. Hot and cold food will be available all day.

Basic pitch prices for sellers remain at £5 and trestle tables also remain at £2. This is usually a sell out event so please get your reservation in early as its a first come first served allocation process for space and tables. The downloadable form below must be used for pitch and table reservations and there is also a Q&A which should answer any seller's questions.

Directions: The Sports Connexion is conveniently located on the junction of the A423 and A445 and just a few hundred metres from the A45 at the edge of Ryton-on-Dunsmore. CAUTION: The map link is innacurate (and many sat navs ditto) in that the Connexion is in the complex of white roads nearest the A445/A423 roundabout with the curving drive down to the venue. VBOA signs will be in place.

Map: http://www.multimap.com/maps/?qs=cv83fl ... 16|cv83fl|

Those who want to set up their own stand can download the form here:

So who will be there?!

The VODC will have a parking area on the grass to the left of the halls so you guys are more than welcome to join us if you want. As you come in off the road down the slope turn left at the bottom (opersite way to the halls) and follow the short road and you will see our bunting in the corner to your right.

Hope to see some of you there.

We also have a stall inside.

Don't think I'll be able to make it now, but good luck finding Jenveys there! You might want to set your sights a little lower... maybe a Viva HB interior mirror covered in dirt will be easier to find there?!

I always come away from there thinking, 'what a load of rubbish' and then look down at the mass of 'rubbish' that I've bought and immediately retract that statement haha!

Compared to some parts fairs though, it is a bit grim.

I went to my own Autojumble and bought a complete set of genuine Cavalier Turbo doors (+ 1 spare rear) and a genuine bootlid. All brand new unused old stock, all genuine Turbo panels with door bars and rivets. What did you guys buy at the VBOA event? Jenveys?!

for various reasons I didn't even go, but had a call from my ledge MIG friend who was up there doing the searching and he bagged me a new cavvy aircon/recirc flaps etc heater fan assembly/casing, with the correct 4 speed fan resistor, with round pins not flat ones, for £15. what a leg. as mine is well past it's use by date.

no vx dealers there though flogging off mega deals on VX oils unfortunately as we all needed to stock up. thinking of buying a trade club 205L drum of 10/40 semi and sharing it out for cost. it's storing a bloody drum full though.

I be going looking for parts as my Cav off the road after failing it's Mot last month so looks like I be going either in a MK1/2 Fiat Uno or more likely my Dads F**d Fiesta!
