I don't know what to say.

I was debating buying a V6, XE, after Easter or waiting until late summer and getting an Turbo, but it seems I upset someone with my impatience.

If anyone knows Mr Davey, pass on my kind regards. I didn't mean to offend, because I think I'm funny.

Christ on a bike, how far up his own arse is he?

i say f*ck em!

This is like the urbex forums. if you posted a report and it wasnt good enough, it would get thrown in the bin and only the tightest of the community would survive on it. so lesser experienced people would be binned off and the best places would be done.

If you start an online forum, wether it be cars, bikes, wallpaper or lumps of crap in the street, your beginning a community, your not a mayor, its not a town, just cos some one doesnt directly have what the forum is intended for gives no one no right to humiliate some one on line. Just cancel there membership, block there email address or access number.

Wow! That's awesome! Another reason not to own a turbo I reckon.

Let's face it, if owning a Cav Turbo is required to be a member, they'll only have about 8 members in a few years when they've all rotted away and no more working transfer boxes exist.

I'm going to make a forum for v6auto BTCC replicas.

And nobody is allowed to join unless they state their location and own a v6auto BTCC replica!

I'll be incharge and I'll be the man!

Because you obviously aren't worthy of being on that site!....... Or did you not state your location? ...... Or maybe just said "Hi" in the wrong font.

He'll probably think it's me or one of the others who were 'removed' from the site trying to get back on.It's a bit rich coming from him as he is more concerned with his SUBARU than owt else.~!!

He must be under a bit of stress as he is actually quite a nice decent guy, so don't know who must have pulled his Teddys head off 1

I didn't mean to start a 'Slag off the Cav Turbo Register Forum site Owner' thread, just get someone to pass a message on telling him to chill. But It seems others share a similar story.

So anyway, like I said in the other thread :

jacko-lah wrote:
I was sort of there at the beginning of http://www.mk2cav.com as a club. and I remember Cav-web back in the days when it was Bonehead (V6 owner) and Charlie Cav (374 bhp turbo) meeting in a car park in Northwich (or was it crewe)

You need to beware the GSI/TURBO/V6 Clique. Andy ( he of www.mk2cav.com) has always been very keen to promote the standard 1.6's and 1.3's .

I (we it's my wife's) have a bog standard 1.8 L (with original carb and blue interior) It's unlikely that it's worth showing as it's a bit ratty, and it's unlikely that we'll ever modify it, but I'd like to be in a club and would pay £12 if I got a sticker and a T shirt in Pink (Ladies Size 8).

So I'll assume that the likely hood of finding a good solid turbo for use as a daily driver is a pointless exercise and stick to the V6 idea I think.

V6's are good cars.

But you can only buy one if you state your location.

the CTOR is actually a very good site, with a lot of very good and freindly people on it, who main interest is keeping the very few of a very rare modlel of cavalier on the road, Carl Davy is a very good and fair bloke, and the entrance procedure to join he CTOR is to try and keep any tom, dick or harry from joining and reading project threads and maybe glean info wher thes cavs are kept, as these are getting very rare now and are targets for car thevies, PS, Colarado (paul) i dont know why you dont come on the site anymore, as faar i i can see noe one upset you os slagged you off, and when you attended the car show with us, i think you were made most welcome and everyone was very freindly with you, we even put yous actuator pipes right, because the way you had them it was on full boost all the time, and doing your engine no good. Fair enough, I'd have scanned in my Last Scottish Disclosure Certificate (Like a CRB check) and Passport. That's pretty much all the MOD needed to let me work in small arms.

I just got fed up with the constant whining and whingeing from welsh gazza didnt seem to be be much moderation on it. It felt like everytime i was on there he was kicking off about something or arguing with someone. At the shows though yes brilliant i couldnt wish for a friendlier helpful bunch. Its all a bit academic though because due to money problems the turbo has to go unfortunatly Mortgage payments take priority at the moment.
