What's everyone's insurance like this year?

My renewal for the 1.6 LS and V6 comes at £364 this year. Up from £318 last year.
Anyone else suffering premium rises?

Yep - typically £50+ increase per car compared to last years prices.

Same with the house insurance.

Being affected by the righting off of vehicles with parts like £1000 headlights!
My MK4 astra went up by £100 (now £240) the CD is due mid May and is on a joint policy with my Morris, started saving!

Funnily enough I just had the renewal come through for my Cav and it was about £130 with the existing company, havent tried the comparison sites yet. Sure it was about £110 last year. My volvo has actually gone down, I'm sure its around £260 now for me and the missus.

Last renewal (Oct2023) it was up by about £17 on the Yaris. It's somewhat frustrating. But not as bad as some of you guys!

I renewed last month with GA.
It's risen from around £244 to £264 (including finance) - just under a £20 annual rise. I'm ok with paying two quid a month more, you can't get a coffee in a supermarket café for that
I did use the two main comparison sites before accepting but they were disappointing, the cheapest quotes were more than double when the excess was included.

Not just me then.

It's the first time my insurance has risen since I started driving in 2010.

Ive been getting driven bonkers by the insurance company for my Cav over the last few days, what dont they understand about eff off? Every day I'm getting an answer phone message about renewal, I've already said NO! Another company that I'll put on the list of not using!

My renewal came in from RH (been with them for years) and it had gone up £15, which I could handle, quite surprised to be honest. This is for the CD with an agreed value of £4k and the Morris with an agreed value of £9k - this year it's £327!
Phoned Footman James (takes so long) and they offered exactly same cover for £220! which includes £15 for ability to buy back the written vehicle for scrap value.
Not sure I can face any more phone calls or just go with Footman!
