Merry Christmas you lovely lot.

Well it is that time of year where we brace ourselves for too much expense, too much food and too much alcohol.
:cheers :cheers :sick :sick
Yep, I am a grumpy old git, who finds Christmas a challenging time of year... :wall

I am not a religious person, so feel a little hyporcritical about celebrating this religious occasion.
And I am not a fan of all this Americanised commercialised spend-fest.

And by the time we hit new year, I am glad to say good riddence to the departing year.

Despite my own opinions that would impress scrooge...

I wish you all a fabulous Christmas, hoping that Santa empties his sacks and gives you all what you were hoping for. :santa :raindeer :raindeer :raindeer
Not just the usual socks and under-crackers milarkey - lol

And wishing you all a 2022 that is much better than the last two years.
I wish you all good health, wealth and prosperity for the year ahead. :D

Keep safe out there, and keep your wits about you for your fellow travellers who think nothing of driving whilst drunk or drugged.

I look forward to hearing from you all next year. :wave

Have a good one you lovely lot. :cheers

And thank you for sharing your exploits throughout 2021. :)

Wow - are we going to be having too many chilli flakes in our turkey dinner?

I defy anyone to be as excitable as my missus.
Considering neither of us are in our teens, not even in our forties...
The wife insisted on getting up at 3:32am this morning because Santa had been. :santa :raindeer :raindeer
She is not going crackers, she always does this.

Suffice to say, we were done and dusted by 4:00am, and back in the land of nod soon after.

Our pooch Ebony will have her Christmas carrot in a while. She is asleep now after having her breakfast.
Such a hard life. :grommit

I gave our rabbit some sprouts the other night...
Blimey!! What a smell. His wind has been so bad, that I thought he had died. Yikes.

Thanks Robsey, and a Merry Christmas to everyone and theirs!
Most useful pressy 'so far'?
5 litres of Quinton Hazel brake cleaner!
and a Happy New Year.

Well it IS that time of year again.

Surprised nobody else has dived in already...

Hoping Santa brings your lovely Cavalier's all the pampering that they need and deserve.

Have a great Christmas everyone.
Keep safe and sober if you are driving.

Best wishes for 2023 from Robsey Towers.

As per the usual Robsey household ritual.

Wife woke me up at 4:30am (later than usual) to say Santa had been. :santa :raindeer :raindeer

Despite having no children of our own, the wife more than makes up the fun and excitement. :thumb

Again Merry Christmas everyone.
Now then - time for a cuppa. :cheers

Highlight was stumbling on ELO in concert, Wembley, in I think 2017, stumbled on by accident, on Sky Arts, early Christmas Morn.

Bloody Marvellous. :raindeer

Don't know if its too early but I'd like to wish any forum members who are left a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. I never knew the forum in its heyday but even since I've joined a lot of the regulars seem to of disappeared, let's hope everyone has a great 2024.

Same to you and yours and everyone else on the forum, it's the hardcore ones like us that have stuck it out, here's to many more years of joyful cavalier ownership!

And hopefully 2024 will bring good health, wealth and happiness. :cheers :thumb :cool

And more opportunities to get our Cavaliers back on the road in rude health.

Yes, a very Merry Christmas :santa to all of you who are still on this Forum - which unfortunately doesn't seem to be too many at the moment - there's just one person online at the moment in addition to myself!
I guess Cavaliers are now getting rarer and rarer - but I think this is all the more reason to keep those left running. My Cav V6 Auto is still very much a runner; I don't use it a great deal but, when I do, I'm always impressed by its performance, smoothness and quietness. It stands comparison with a lot of more modern cars I've driven.

I think at 5:30pm, a lot of members are probably still commuting.

But, yes we cannot hide from the fact that a lot of names and faces have moved on...
And there are less Cavaliers on the road than there were 15+ years ago, when the forum was in its prime.
