UPDATED Rolling Road Day

Address:
D-Tech Performance
170 Dewsbury Road
Ossett
WF5 9PL

http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?f=q&hl=en ... 82483&z=14

RR days are run on a sunday only due to their workload.
10 cars minimum
10-20 cars; £35
20+ cars; £30
Includes a print-out and feedback on over-fueling/under-fueling/etc.

How do people feel about, once a date is agreed, putting a £20 deposit down to be taken off the £30-£35 to secure the place. The deposit would be non-refundable (for ANY reason) in part to disuade people from signing up and dropping out at the last minute.
Any and all feedback appricated...

My suggested date will be March 1st 2009, plucked as per blind calender stabbing :D should be far enough from Christmas to allow hangovers to clear and wallets to fill up again, and should give all more than enough time to sort MOT's, running issues, etc, etc!

There's a pub next door too :D

THIS IS A 4x4 ROLLING ROAD!

Send £20 deposit to paypal@cavmk3oc.com by the latest 31st Jan 2009 to secure your place include your username, full first and last name in the notes on the paypal.

Should be ok by March assuming everything starts falling into place work / college wise.
Have edited the first post Squig to add a rolling list so people can see who is going from the off rather than trawling through the whole thread (as undoubtedly it will begin to span various pages).

Well I've run out of time money and pateints with her this year, the rolling road near me said they wont remap the ecu while the oil pressure drops when hot, so could be a new oli pump job. So god knows if I'll have this done by march or not. Got other things I need to pay off and buy 1st. I've thrown best part of £1500 on it so far this year I not going to pay soem one to pull it apart and fit a new oil pump just yet. I'll keep you guys posted.

you can alway bring her down and we can fit it :D... the difficult bit is getting the aux belt back on, but I have a way of sorting that! is the cambelt good, i.e. recently changed?

continue this here hairbo, so we don't clutter the RR thread...

bugger the place is like 16.1 mile from my house :p

just considering whether to get the cav banged through a mot in the new year just to get here on the road, would be interesting to see what she pumps out as a standard after all these years.

if at anything i may have attempted a minor diy P&P by then

Haribo,

its a very long shot but your oil strainer could be partially blocked causing low oil pressure, my old 1980 Mk2 seized because i didn't know the oil strainers get blocked on cavaliers.

regards oojimmyflip. :wave

We have 6/7 we need 3/4 more for this too go ahead... come on people sign up...
I have also realised this is really close to VBOA so if people would prefer it too be moved slightly further toward end of march this can be done.
Any of you newcomers up for a trip to Leeds for a club RR day throw your name in, the last club event was PVS and that was an excellent weekend throughly enjoyed by all.

EVERYONE is welcome, please don't be put off if your new, because you wont know anyone. We are all very friendly and as Squig says, if last years PVS is anything to go by you you'll soon be made very welcome and at ease

I'm fearing that my cav won't be on the road by then as i've some work i need to do on the roof were the windscreen rubber is so it'll depend on when i can afford a windscreen (as the current is cracking).

although i am considering getting it into a mot in a week or so just to get a check list of work definatley needing to be done.

i'll sign up and pay if you dont mind me bringing the 1.4 306 sedan if the cav isn't running.
