Some "random" chat ...
So where do glazes fall? Directly after polishing, immediately before waxing. What does a glaze do, exactly? In short, it’s all about depth…

Basically, a glaze is a shine enhancing product that is applied after polishing to fill in any remaining imperfections that polishing may not be able to tackle, adding even more depth when wax is applied over it.

So there is some logic in applying a glaze even if I have already polished and waxed. And then re-wax?

Just spent 20 minutes looking back through Andrei's posts.

Now that was a voyage of discovery :scratch
Indeed arses were not mentioned by name, so I retract that point...

As for TV that I watch...
Discovery Turbo is often on, on a Sunday...so it is "Wheeler Dealers" all day.
I think the wife is trying to spur on my car refurbing tasks... not worked so far.

The rest of the week, it is either true crime, perfect murders etc...on tv.
I make a point of not getting life insurance, so that I am worth naff all dead to her.

I myself don't bother with the TV.... 200 channels of bland crap... ho hum.

Regarding fame - not been on TV.
But been in the paper with some lads from work in 1984... some promotion with Joe Royle (Oldham Athletic) at the time. Cannot remember what that was about... it was 30 years ago.

Behind the scenes I have had lengthy chats / meetings with many celebrities...including:-
Howard Jones - 80's singer
Carl Fogarty - famous motor-cylcling champion.
James Whitham - another famous bike rider.
Psychic Sally, and a couple of other TV mediums..
And several MP's including the current shadow health secretary Andy Burnham.
Cherylee Houston from Corrie..

Oh and Pat Butcher from Eastenders.
Nearly forgot the little lad and one of the many Schmeichel Great Danes.

Joe Royle, former Manchester City player/manager. I think he played for England at one point too.

I don't spend much time in front of the tellybox either. I do have BBC News 24 on most of the time that I'm in the house, just chattering away in the background, and I love Match Of The Day, but that's about it really. Occasionally get stuck into a box set or a show that I can see through from beginning to end quickly, but otherwise I'm in the garage or working. That said, I've caught most of the latest series of Homeland and thought that was head and shoulders above the first two seasons, and I thought The Wire was up there with The Sopranos as the best TV that I've ever seen. Other than Babestation, obviously.

That's weird... Back in school we had a Science teacher called Mr. Fogarty, and he had a lovely Harley. Don't know his first name though, but he did look like a proper biker :thumb

Thought it might have been a co-incidence.

And I feel much obliged that you spent 20 minutes of your spare time trawling through my posts. :p

Believe me - It was very entertaining.
I find it allows you to make a proper appraisal of someone's character.

From some of your comments I had gained the idea that you were some sort of depraved sexual deviant, with the odd "pet shop boy" antic thrown in for good measure.

But reading some of the other posts, I have to acknowledge that you did sometimes talk sense... lol

Only during the summer...

Who is watching Saw 5 at the moment? I absolutely love those films, really love watching people's guts come spilling out of them. :cool One of my favourite film series by far.

 Haven't played those games myself, the closest thing I've played is Resident Evil, I think number 2 it was...

Still, it's usually better watching it on a TV screen..

Anyone from Oldham got any views from ground level on the Ched Evans affair? [You did say "random" :)]

Even outside of Oldham this is a pretty controversial topic. IMHO the guy should not be allowed to play anywhere. I know that 'technically' he has served a custodial sentence for his crime (and that there are those who will argue that a criminal deserves a second chance after they've served their time (or half of it in this case)), but the role he wishes to resume as a professional footballer also comes with responsibility - it doubles up as being a role model for kids. I would not want want my son/daughter cheering on a convicted rapist.

His appointment will be commercial suicide for whichever club takes him on.

Nothing there that I'd disagree with. Be interesting to know what folk in Oldham think.
