There's this white SRi on eBay that looks really nice, apart from the arches but I've seen a lot worse

I don't think that ones to bad either, change the wheels, rear lights and front indicators and you've got a nice cav, like the idea of white footwell lights activated by the main interior light...

I mostly agree. The white cav's 8v and the rust, similar to what I had, cost me £300 to fix.
You seem set on a redtop. This one appears to be in decent nick for it's age and has had a lot of rust-proofing done. I agree the wheels are awful, as are all the lights. (not sure on the legality of the hid's- wipers,auto-levelling etc.).
I'm sure you'd also need to change the number plates for legal ones but overall it seems a decent car and wouldn't take much to de-chav it
(I'm assuming the mileage is meant to read 130000, not 13000)
