Where has everyone gone on this site there's hardly been any body on for a while and all the regulars

This site and others have been quiet recently. I guess people are just living their lives as they do. Can't really say much else..

most people are addicted to FB, so real owners clubs don't get a look in.

Those two letters can only mean one thing. A waste of space pathetic piece of over-stated bandwith consuming TRIPE that has screwed this god-forsaken society over and over and over again! Because of that one sodding piece of crap website, suddenly everyone treats it as a life-support machine. Nobody can now live or breathe without mentioning it and for what reason??? It brings nothing but misery, arguments and fights into the society, and everyone still mentions it? Personally I want to get a 12 Gauge remington and blast everyone who ever put any little effort into creating it. It is because it exists that our friendly helpful forums, be it Cavalier owners clubs, R/C Rock Crawling clubs, diecast owners clubs are all going quiet on the purpose-designed forums! I say enough is enough, I personally detest computer hackers but I bloody wish that the lot of them got together and DELETED SOCIAL MEDIA FROM EXISTENCE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

All forums seem to have been dumped for one reason or another.
We can only hope that things do pick up soon.

Most forums now have a facebook page also
and as everyone ( a majority of people ) are on facebook they just use them groups instead of going on webpages

its just alot handier for some

Although Facebook is the devils homepage... I use it to keep in touch with friends and family from Swindon...
Also bare in mind... It's free...

I personally prefer the layout of a forum, but in most cases you get a quicker response on Facebook...

Yeah I thought this myself I check on here nearly everyday, sad I know it does seem to go extremely quiet for a couple of weeks or so every few months.

Lets be honest to, some of the members have what I call trailer queens which only ever see the road when the sun comes out which lets face it aint often in the Uk..

I drive and maintain my car all year round and with no garage she gets parked outside my house in the rain which I wish she didn't but hey needs must!!

As for answers it does seem there is more of a wealth of knowledge on sites like FB as they are properly mobile and available to everyone, I am personally a member of about 6 Vauxhall groups on FB where I source parts and advice from others and help out as and where I can do..

most cav owners are on their death beds so you never know...

If I were the PM, things would be a lot different. Unfortunately not a lot of people would agree with it....

but yes -even the youngest Cav is approx 20 years old.
In the UK, that is more than long enough for the shells to rot away.

I suppose people are still around, but the majority of useful information is already out there - just a punt at the search function and there you go... so no need to open a new query thread.

As for me - well I haven't done anything worth writing about, so I mainly spend time moderating or answering electrical queries...
To be honest I get 5 x more PM traffic than forum thread traffic.

My "teenager" cav comes of age in January.
I'd like to think I might outlive it, though the previous owner was 85 so he had a close call
Very pleased you know about electrics because I will be needing some advice as soon as the parts I've ordered arrive.

Just put mine through for its MOT. All it needed was two new wiper blades, incredible. Third year in a row it has only been minimal, last year was a headlight bulb haha! Cavs are great! 131,000 miles and going strong for another year!

Can't complain at that result mate!

It will come good soon enough.

My MOT is due soon (Mid December) - probably mean being sorned until the spring when I can afford to get the sills, rear arches, boot floor and rear cross member welded...
