Hi im going to be removing my abs system completely and fitting a basic loom that doesn't have abs on it or wires for it my sri hatch is a 1995 would it pass its mot without the abs ? Its before I start removing things etc cheers joe

Your ok at the moment but everything has to be removed even the rings on the driveshafts. That's according to my brother. But the mot keeps changing

Troy is right. If any part of the system is there its a failure due to parts of the system being there.

Although i dont think the rings on the shafts have to be removed. Mine doesnt have abs but has the rings on the shafts and the abs sensor holders on the legs due to them being from a later model. And my rear hubs have the sensors in.

It all depends on the tester it's him who signs the slip at the end of the day

I think you'll find it would fail its MoT if the car was fitted with ABS as standard equipment.

You may also have insurance problems.

Why not ask MoT tester first?

That is the most sensible answer to it all.
If it isn't there, it can't be tested.

Obviously, apply common sense to that statement.
