I'm working my way through a bottle of lovely Old Rosie :cheers Going to snakebite it with some premium beer. Still a bit sore after yesterday's session though....

Agree. Had a few cans left over from yesterday though, it makes a very smooth snakebite.

I have had a whole week free of it all as I did rather over do it last weekend on holiday, but did fancy a swift one earlier, so am supping a cheeky training lager and lime as that's all I seem to have in the gaff and CBA to go out in the rain to the Co-op. Find that quite refreshing and non headachable. Not real drinking though...
If I got shitfaced on snakebite I'd be off work for 3 days recovering, and got some important stuff on at the moment saving our brave sailors and soldiers etc, but i do like a decent dry cider when I can, or proper local craft beer, preferably light and hoppy.

Snakebite to me = Westons and Special Brew. Unfortunately that carries a high price tag. So does scotch.

But hey ho, it is what it is, fair play to you for what you do, I don't quite have the same responsibilities.

I don't drink, only on special occasions. Personally I think it's a slippery slope

Not had a proper drink since 2001...

I found myself getting friendly with a friends wife...many times -oops.!!
(Not too friendly thankfully). - not good so I don't risk it anymore.

besides - I drive for a living, so can't afford to get blotto and lose my license because I'm still over the limit the next day.

I tell you one person who needs rehab, our bloody cat! Keeps stealing my beer, I've told him to get off the bottle.

I'm the same. don't mind having a few tins when I'm going to be off the next day but at most I'll have 2 tins on a work night if that. what with cost and legal cost if over in the morning it's not all that often I drink at all

I love my ales too.

This is the selection for this evening:

The one on the far left is larger brewed locally to where my cousins live in Jugenheim, Germany.

Of course if you're going to drink German beer you need the right mug to contain it in.

:cheers
