Hi how do you trace who owns a car and adress so I can offer money for a reg plate without having to pay for the details or can someone on here find out for me ?

it was last taxed 01/09/14 and mot'd 07/06/14 so not been off road long but want current owners address please anyone or a contact number if its a friend of yours cheers

Unless someone knows them, you will have to pay the dvla for the details...
Could try the old 'dumped on my land' trick...

is that the best exscuse ? because wouldn't they ask for proof of land ownership etc ?

As said above -
If nobody knows the car or it's owner, then we cannot help.
simple as that.
You have more information than us already - you have the photo.
if you know where the photo is from, then you "may" be able to back track from there.

ive tryd to zoom in in back ground what it says on van but its not clear ive sent a v888 off to dvla
