Omg just downloaded the government list and bar spelling mistakes their was 2496 cavaliers scrapped, even more scary is when you start looking up the cars selling now for mega money like the mk2 Astra Gte and various other makes like the Bmw 2002 someone scrapped...

Just to think they all scrapped these awesome cars to drive mostly boring modern boxes that all look the same, have shame on them all!!!

I was about to say that 2496 Cavaliers was less than I thought and it didn't seem too bad, then I saw that this was just 2009. :o

I feel quite sick now.

Well the government brainwashing works. Makes people think a new car is best, and high status because it's brand new

No, I bet the next scheme would be to try and put us all into electric """""""eco-unfriendly vehicles...

I will phone them up personally and tell them that for every 10.000 pre-1990 cars scrapped, all the materials, waste removal and carbon emissions they make are still less than producing and fueling a so-called carbon-friendly electric driving chair.... End of.
