Photoshop this cavalier yellow please

Post by McFall1984 »

I have the newest edition of photochop an i simply have no idea how to work it
ive watched video's etc... an i cant lower a car, change wheels or even the colour :face:

but can someone here just change the colour of these to yellow?

thanks

Reason im asking, i currently have a satin red cavalier saloon diesel
it has a few scrapes an dents, which need pulled and painted, so instead of me going the same colour, i want to go the turbo look

I have a full GSI kit here, i have the car stripped completely bar my dash
im hunting at the minute for the 5 stud setup and cavalier turbo alloys, finishing with turbo leather

thanks to anyone that can help

Why yellow? I know it would stand out by miles but not a common colour to pick.

Very 90'/00's

A few cavs were resprayed that colour. back in the.

I wanted to do a mk2 yellow when I wasa 16
(Back in 1996) lol

Would you go with a vauxhall colour?

Astra mk3 sport soft yellow. or Calibra SE deeper yellow?

I've always love the 850 T5R estate in yellow they look class!

Cavs in yellow look good, as long as you you keep the black trim as contrast.

I think a turbo bodykit, Tined windows, Yellow spray job and some classic old skool 17's would look amazing. You'd need a retro head unit to finish it off

If you want to see different shades of a colour, the easiest way is to get one image, then turn down/up the brightness on your monitor/screen. :thumb

Look at photos of the calibra and astra. I'll try to hunt out the articles I have from back in the day with yellow Cavaliers. One was a combat kitted gsitwitc turbo engine fitted. From regal . The other was a hatchback v6 Caesaro I think of top of my head.

You are right, this is a Cavalier owner's forum and should be friendly and supportive. BUT we are all humans with our own brains, hence things may be said or seen as out of tone. I have done so before and I know of it........ It's impulse of the moment.... Nobody here as far as I know has anything personal against another member, and I have been registered on here for a good while!

Let's all get on for Pete's sake, and while there will always be banter and criticism, let's just take it with a pinch of salt or sugar, or a shot of scotch, or whatever!

No need for war here, let's get out there and get the polish/wax bottle out with a good cloth and make the most out of the time!!!
we need a like button here
i should have read my post an made sure all was spelt correct

never seen a yellow cav before, just want to try something different, its only costing me the price for paint an my time, so its more or less a free paint job

be good to see it done thought to see the outcome, i plan on going to PVS next year from here with it, thats if all goes to plan

Right - I have cleared this thread up twice.
No more !!

If you can help with photo-shop'ing then please do,
If you cannot then you don't need to do anything.

Regarding the software itself - you can get versions of it for free.
Maybe not the pro version, but that ain't the point.
I got photoshop free with a Polaroid digital camera in 2006.
And no I do not know how to use it to a useful standard either.

So - please only comment if you have got something positive, useful, informative or constructive to say.

As said by others,
You have nothing to apologise for.

The matter is now over -

So,
Please let's get back to the topic.
Can anyone assist with this simple request?

Personnally I think your being too serious Robsey. I wacked a bit of humour in and you got rid. Peoples opinions should be shown it's that that makes the site.

Okay - the posts were deleted, as they either named the person in the wrong, or because they quoted deleted content.
I will apologise to Troy and Ads and the other post writers if this offended you

Also

I understand the concern at my apparent heavy handed "policing" methods, however I do not apologise for removing content where one member was clearly having a pop at another - twice, with no apparent justification.

If there are still worries please pm me.

i like it too especially third down. vauxhall missed a trick not making the cav in that colour like the mk3 astra

Not a fan myself, but it could be just that I am not used to it.

It may grow on me - it could be that the engine imagery makes the car look dirty / scruffy,
so good clean lines could make it much more appealing.

I tried to edit the pictures you posted but the image quality is low so when i opened it in photoshop it was very pixelated. Also the hue range didnt bring the car yellow enough. It very a greeny yellow. Thats why i edited mine.
