I've been unlucky recently with mine.
The Diplomat went over 155,555 a few months ago and I didn't notice, the CD hatch went over 111,111 miles sometime last week and my Dad didn't notice, and today I just missed this on the CD auto on the way to Billing:

This was my speedo (Astra mk2 GTE Digi Dash), on the 19th February 2014...
It is now showing 254,400 miles.

Ye, I hate the anticipation of, is it going to notch over 1 before I get home??
I just hope it makes it to 666.666, then I will be happy!!!!

Might with a couple of oversized rebuilds, you won't get that out of a 4 cylinder vauxhall petrol engine otherwise. The oil pump will fail long before then taking out the cam housing.

My first cav... NO engine work... Just service and love...
Died in a barrier with over 255000 in it
My purple plum... Can just about make it out...
My last cav loon had just 79000 on the clock...

Depends what life the engines had. If it's done nothing but motorway miles then will do loads but not half a million miles, 300,000 absolutely max on an orginal engine
