sadly this is'nt an april fool's...

Post by Chip Pan Dan »

to cut a long storey short, some woman pulled out on a car in front of a car in front of me, the car in front braked hard, i braked locked up tried to avoid hitting the car in front, and hit a car on my left hand side. then hit the kerb and flipped my car. so sadly my pride and joy is no longer.
it hasnt really set in yet but so people keep telling me at least i'm okay blah blah blah.

as im sure you're all nosey chuff heres some pics, please dont post them on facebook or other forums!

thanks

Sorry to see that mate, such a nice clean Cav too..

Atleast you are still here though and there is plenty of Cavs left out there for all the bits to be transfered onto :thumb
Free Parking is a bonus, leaving my Cav in a carbon dust filled carpark is not.....

Give it 3 days for it to sink it, big crashes always screw with you for the first 24/48 hours

Ouch, I condole your loss. She kept you in one peace at least.

Damage looks to be fairly superficial. Unless there's any structural damage it could be repairable. Considering all the effort you put into it it's worth considering.

fudge me mate, I'm proper gutted for you.... Especially considering it wasn't your fault. Real nice example gone just like that because some fudgery woman driver decided to gamble with traffic. :wall :wall :wall Makes me physically sick that does. Beyond all comprehension. Tell you what if that was me, forget all those patrol cars nearby, it'll take a fudgery army to stop me finding who was responsible and avenging my loss :wall

Sorry to hear it's broken, but it can be replaced and you can't, it could be worse. I am lying in a hospital bed under observation for a suspected dodgy appendix :-(

Looking at this again makes me realise how robust these old cars still are !
Maybe we should start a thread of crashed Cavaliers to let the rest of us see what you walked away from ?

what a shame such a lovely car, are you going to try and buy it back to use it as a donor or are you going to let it go?
