What's bugging me is, what the hell is that behind the Cavalier?
I thought at first it was a Mk1 Senator, but the trunk looks a bit too long.

Re: Stuff we've seen on the road
Did see a lovely Hillman Hunter on the way to work today, spoke to the driver very briefly through the window, it was a 67, just as I guessed, good condition, bumpers all chrome and everything. Stank like hell, probably hasn't been run in a while but old carbs do stink anyway. Was nice to see, especially compared to all the generic pieces of shit I see on the roads.....

Re: Stuff we've seen on the road
My best buddy had a Hunter when we were young. Drove it like he stole it everywhere but always got away with a 'tut tut don't do it again' when he got pulled over because his dad was a copper. He had a met police dog handlers sticker next to the tax disc to help break the ice lol

I believe this might have been James' dad, it didn't look like James, but then it didn't look like his dad either. James, has someone stolen it?

My God, I think it is.
If that was on the A21 then it would have been my Dad on his way home from work. I'll have to ask him about it.
Well spotted!

A21 southbound between Sevenoaks and Tonbridge shortly after 5 I think. Was certainly your CD, just wasn't sure who was driving it because I only got a quick glimpse.James McGrath wrote:My God, I think it is.

Yep, that was my Dad alright. He says he saw your RAC van but didn't know it was you otherwise he would have stopped for a chat at the layby.

Re: Stuff we've seen on the road
Well, it's only Tuesday but already a plentiful supply of interesting motors in town:
First up, I was driving past the local MOT centre and I saw this parked up outside. I pulled over to have a look and the owner came out. Turns out that the car had been mothballed for fifteen years. The owner had bought it in 1987 when it was two years old and it has been collecting dust in his garage since 1998! He thought it about time to get it MOT'd and took it to the test centre... and to his amazement it passed!

Can't recall if I posted this or not, but classic Saab was impressive, again in the High Street, but earned extra forum points for being parked up facing the wrong way (one way system!)
