I was actually thinking for the corsa, but like you say carbon wraps been done to death and vinyl leather look material is dirty cheap on ebay.

I'm not sure it suits the shape of more modern cars, I certainly don't think it would work on a Cavalier. I would reserve judgement on the corsa until I had seen it in the flesh though... It might look quite good, but it might look bloody awful.

ive seen a R5 gtt with the bodykit done in leather vinyl, thought it looked quite good in a different kind of way

I've had loads on cortina's. Brown with beige paint and brown interior is one of My favourite combo's.

The roof bar gutters may limit your look.

There are lots of small cars like the Fiat 500 Air, with the vinyl slide back roof.
The white vinyl on white bodywork still looks quite tidy and not particularly dated like the older brown on beige combinations.

Not quite sure what colour vinyl would go with silver... possibly black,

Silver vinyl would be a colour match, but I am not confident that the silver vinyl would last, as these metallic colours tend to flake and look scabby over time.

A lot of the look is in the presentation, and I am sure that you would do a professional tidy job.
I am not quite as skilled / careful, and would probably make a messy dogs dinner of it.

Ive never done anything like it before but i'd certanly give it ago!

I think only black would work really. Unless i did it in a dark red leather coulor along with dark red leather seats out of an astra coupe... hmmm
