Well.. the seat frame I'd welded up last year for test snapped today.. not the best of moods considering I was doing about 35 at the time. Not sure why it's snapped, granted I am overweight but it has snapped in a weird old place.. so I'm wondering if its anything to do with the floor being hit with a hammer after some dickhead jacked it up wrong..
I hate being in moods like this.
Very annoyed.

Aye, its the height adjustable one. standard ones are too tall for me in a cav.
Considering belting up my mates Vectra half leathers onto cav runners as I'm a bit shocked at how appauling the metal work on the cav seats are. If I do get another set of mk3 seats in I'll be plating and re-enforcing the fecker.

Re: Very annoyed.
Seats are quite feeble in the Cav 3.
I'm on my second driver's seat (both height adjustable).
First one snapped just above the pivot point above the seat belt latch area.
This one creaks when I move back and forth - usually to look in the glove box, or to look into the rear footwell for something I've thrown there!
I am only about 14 stones and 6ft tall...so not particularly over weight.

I don't feel so bad now. I think.
