buying back your old car

Post by Greig Sri »

I've bought back my old y reg vectra 2.2 sri. Back in 2001 I payed £16k for it. This time round I payed £140 for it :o . I'm going to be breaking it for spairs . It has a few mods on it that should sell on easy.

This is the first time I've bought back an old car of mine.

The car was going to the scrap yard to get crushed. They were going to pay £140 for it. So i said ill pay £140 too and take it away now. I should get my money back from just the wheels and tyres alone. It's got low miles on it about 80k I think.

The engine is the all alloy 2.2 16v one. Can't remember the code.
The wheels are 17" 5 spokes. I'll have to get a pic or 2 up of the car.

Edit.... on page 23 of my work in progress there is a pic of the car from a few years ago.
