Hi...
Hi, long time vauxhall owner, started with a chevette, then mk1 cav.
Have had a number of vectra b and calibras, including about half a dozen v6 ones. But will never have another v6, evil engine to work on, and will stick to 4 cylinder for now

Re: Hi...
I presume by that you mean the KWP baud rates.
If you have the XE, XEV engines, then Opcom already supports them.
NE and NZ engines are not so well catered for.
A little faffing with the Astra 1.4NZ will help with the Rochester Multec SPi / CFi units.
And I am sure the Frontera-A also used the NE engines, so you may strike lucky.
My personal attempts did not achieve much.
Autoscanner / OpelScanner from the Ukraine works pretty well though.
From time to time there is a seller in Israel that can sell these copied units on ebay.
I have an early Ukraine device with serial plug. It uses a serial to usb adapter, but I can never get this to communicate.
My working unit with direct usb connectivity is out on loan to Cavalier 1990...

Re: Hi...
Autoscanner works on my Cavalier, but you often have to go for a different model year for it to connect.
I had this when looking at my board computer, air bag and so on.
I think I used a year or so later than the actual year of my car.
They did say that the super-late versions of OpCom (2015 onward) would support the really early cars.
There are versions as late as June 2020 floating around the web that will work on the china devices.
Assuming you do not have an interface with a fake PIC.
I have a very early 2007 unit, so it is safe to change the firmware, but I have not used it on the Cavalier since the early days... 2010 or 2011.
In orther words - I have not used any later software on the Cavalier.

Re: Hi...
If it helps, they are all read via the same pin on both the ALDL 10 pin plug,
And the 16 pin EOBD plug.
Data =
ALDL pin G
EOBD pin 7
12volts =
ALDL pin F
EOBD pin 16
Ground =
ALDL pin A
EOBD pins 4 and 5 (linked externally through the cable).
As for protocol -
If memory serves.
It is ISO 9141
