Hi guys, after attending the beaulieu simply vauxhalls on Sunday I was chuffed to find one of your flyers under my wiper from Dave,
My car is the silver 4x4 Gsi, which I think may have been mistaken for a replica ! Who looked underneath for the rear diff lol, I really enjoyed the day and I'm looking forward to next year, hopefully ill pluck up the courage to introduce myself next time!

Thanks for the welcome guys, no dave I didn't mind at all I'm glad you all liked my Gsi it's been a long long road to get it to where it is now, there's still loads to do engine bay is next, and it's going back to the body shop for a few touch ups, I fitted the cdi rear boot panel as I knew ppl would think it was a rep lol I still have the original rear panel that will most likely be refitted,
I'm from Wiltshire, I also have a l and g reg 8v 4x4s, I did have a look on your stand and there was some clean looking cav's, one especially cought my eye was the v6 maybe ill get a couple of mine there next year help fill your stand up a little lol

The GSi 4x4s and the 8v 4x4s are literally the two rarest Cavaliers around! Quite a collection you have. Get some photos up we'd love to see them!

Must admit I noticed your Cav the minute I drove in, did take me and Dave crawling around it to work out what it was though...

I put a pic up of it on the beaulieu pics in events and meets.

Btw mine was the only green one at the event, killed its expansion tank so was a interesting drive home.

Be good to see pics and maybe see you at a local meet soon.

Lol I thought it would make people wonder what it actually was but putting the plain rear panel on !! Bit of a bummer about the expansion tank ! Do you have a link to the beaulieu photos as I'd like to see it !!
